Kids Photography Class

A 6 week course for children ages 8-12 who are interested in photography. Students will learn essential elements of photography and have hands on time to practice their skills.

Students will learn

• History of photography
• Exposure: ISO, shutter speed, aperture
• Camera settings (white balance & basic settings)
• Composition
• Lighting/Posing
• Careers in photography
• Hands on lab time

*Students will need digital single lens reflex (DSLR) cameras during course. Option available to rent camera during class instruction.

Kids Smartphone Photography

A 2 hour course for children ages 12+ who are interested smartphone in photography. Students will learn essential elements of photography and have hands on time to practice their skills.

Smartphone not provided. While not required to attend course it is strongly encouraged the child have access to their own smartphone during the class
